This is to ensure that when fitting the tough actionback won't scratch walls or skirting, and it also adds an extra layer of comfort. Fusion backed carpets require fitting with underlay, and we always recommend you try the best underlay your budget allows. A better quality underlay will not only increase comfort, but the lifetime of your carpet.
